Cosmetic Dentist
Spc. Dr. Bensu Çalışkan completed her dental education at Bezmialem Vakıf University and continued doctoral-level training and research in the Department of Prosthodontics at Istanbul University from 2020. Her clinical work includes fixed prostheses, implant-supported restorations and removable prosthetic treatment.
Her academic work also reflects an interest in digital dentistry. In 2025, she co-authored a case report describing a fully digital CAD/CAM workflow for an anterior resin-bonded fixed partial denture. This background supports a treatment-planning approach that considers restorative design, material selection, tooth preservation and the relationship between the planned prosthesis and the surrounding tissues.
Dr. Çalışkan reviews the condition of the supporting teeth or implants, available space, bite forces, tissue health and aesthetic priorities before selecting a restorative design.
Where several options are possible, the consultation compares their invasiveness, maintenance requirements, potential limitations and suitability for the patient’s clinical situation for the patient’s clinical situation.
