About Dr. Anıl Tütüncüler

Spc. Dr. Mehmet Anıl Tütüncüler graduated with honours from Ondokuz Mayıs University Faculty of Dentistry in 2017. He completed specialist training in prosthodontics at Marmara University, earning his specialist qualification in 2021. His clinical work includes crowns and bridges, implant-supported restorations and removable prostheses. 

His academic work has also examined smile proportions and aesthetic perception. In a 2026 clinical study published in Yeditepe Dental Journal, he and his co-authors compared natural anterior tooth proportions with commonly used smile-design ratios and evaluated how dental education influenced aesthetic preferences.

Approach to treatment planning

Dr. Tütüncüler evaluates the teeth, supporting tissues, bite and available restorative space before selecting a prosthetic design.

For extensive treatment, he considers how individual restorations will function together and whether provisional stages are needed to evaluate comfort, appearance and bite before the final restorations are completed.
